Governors wanted at Plantsbrook School

We’re looking for people with a passion for our students to ‘be the best you can be’ to become Governors at Plantsbrook School.

Meeting twice per term you’ll play a part in supporting us to deliver for the children and communities we serve, whether it’s focused on areas like Safeguarding, Careers, curriculum monitoring or even chairing our Local Academy Committee.

We welcome enquiries from candidates of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities including parents, grandparents and carers of children at the school.

Enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to learn and contribute to school and student success are all we ask.

As a governor, you’ll join a Trust community of enthusiastic volunteers across 5 schools who support our headteachers to establish a culture of high educational standards which promote staff and pupil wellbeing. You will also develop skills such as:

  • Strategic planning
  • Board experience
  • Analysing data
  • Communication and teamwork
  • Decision making
  • Problem solving
