Trustee Recruitment

We are looking for new Trustees to join the board at Broadleaf Partnership Trust to support us in delivering our vision for schools and their communities.

As our Trust continues to develop and grow, we are looking for people who have the following expertise and knowledge:

  • Leadership experience in the education sector, particularly in leadership of a Multi Academy Trust or school within a Trust, or experience in a senior position with responsibility for teaching and learning and/or curriculum development
  • Finance and/or Audit experience in any sector including significant experience in understanding management accounts and/or risk management and/or health and safety
  • Property or Estates Management Experience
  • HR experience in any sector including an understanding of employment legislation, performance management and staff welfare

The board meets twice per term on Wednesday evenings. You would also be expected to join one of our Committees which meet once per term (Audit and People Committees) or twice per term (Finance and Resources).

We welcome enquiries from candidates of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities. Prior governance experience is not essential as we will provide training, however we are looking for candidates with

  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • An understanding of governance principles
  • A willingness to learn and contribute actively, including undertaking regular safeguarding and other statutory training
